Whenever I put anything I'm watching on hold, I then have to deal with constant freezing of the picture!  I have a box that was on an old TV & am still using it for a new HD Smart TV.  Do I possible need a new box?

I just rewired my home network to use a custom router (an Asus RT-AC88U) behind the AT&T modem/router combo, which created an issue with the U-verse IPTV. Upon switching channels, the TV would play normally for a few (10-20) seconds, and then freeze and display an error saying it lost the signal

I am trying to set up a new wired receiver but am getting this error message: “AT&T U-verse tv is not available at this time” and it gives me the option to restart receiver. I have tried to restart it several times but the same message keeps coming up. Any idea what I’m doing wrong? Thanks!
