Watching U-verse TV

Everyday, I put on Cartoon Network for the kids, and then a voice narration starts speaking. At first, I thought that it wasn't the TV. But I pressed Rewind. Turns out it was the TV. How do I turn it off?

I am unable today to watch U-verse from my iPhone U-verse app. It keeps telling me the content can’t be played out of the United States. I live in Texas. the tv will go black, then i get the spinning circle, this happens about every 20 mins or so. sometimes, especially watching sports, after going through black screen stuff the show will come back in spanish i have no idea if this is directv or the at&t internet help

I'm watching Grand Prix Figure Skating on the Olympics channel but the Information block shows Skiing Cup. This disconnect has become typical. International competitions often air overnight, but I can't tell by the Information in the Guide what I need to record. It's very frustrating.

I have gotten as far as change password, which then updates my att account (not what I wanted or needed) and then still wont let me use app (still indicates wrong long in info) - help!

I have U-verse and 5 separate TVs - all with set top boxes. Some are older TVs, a couple are smart TVs, and one has a Roku. In what cases do I need a set top box?
