Streaming + Device & App

I have a third television in my home and downloaded the direct TV stream app on a firestick. After logging in with the correct credentials I am prompted with a screen to choose a package from the three being offered.. Entertainment, Choice or Ultimate.. and then sign up / pay for either. The problem

I watch on my MacBook Air. I often start watching well after the games begin. I call up Apple TV homepage, and the tile shows the game, and it also shows the current score in real time!! The same when you click it and the baseball page comes up and shows you the choices to watch live or start over.

2 weeks ago channel 105 flickered. Last week, it worked fine. Right now, back to flickering. Reset (red button) receiver with zero changes.

I don't like the remote that was sent with the Geminin Air unit. I see there are others that are sold on internet (silver ones), are they compatible and better than the current one that comes with the Geminin unit
