Streaming + Device & App

The stream app on my Smart tv will lose connection multiple times a day. Live sports come in blurry and lag. This is not an internet issue, because all my other apps work perfectly. This is the most frustrating experience. Thinking about changing streaming services.

Just got DirectV Stream, using Gemini Air (switched from U-VerseTV). For the most part I’m enjoying it but I can’t believe there’s no way to arrange the apps in the app carousel. Seems like such a basic feature. Both Roku and the LG SmartTV have it.

On Roku OS, I noticed that a few other apps will allow you to move up & down a PAGE at a time by using the FF & RW buttons. I used to have DirecTV satellite now I have DirecTV streaming it's really frustrating that now when I record a show it cuts off the end of every show because there is no manual padding or manual start and end times. How do I tell it NOT to record from multiple channels?? It winds up recording very old shows on channels like Game Show Network!! I selected new and no reruns.
