Losing satellite connection during peak viewing hours

Satellite connection is going out with code 775, for 3rd afternoon/evening this week. We have tried resetting numerous times, unplugging SWim plug, checked all cables, etc. Weird thing is, that sometime in middle of the night, like 2am this morning, it comes back on and works ok until late afternoon

It's easy to peak signal readings on the main 101ºW satellite. The challenge for proper HD reception is to also peak 99 and 103º satellites. How are your other transponder readings on the 99º satellite?

Specific satellite & transponder

Which satellite and transponder does DirecTV use for channel 674 (ATSWHD, AT&T Sportsnet)? I live in Sugar Land, Texas (Houston area).

Question

Mine does the same thing on both my boxes. It’s reacting like an AGC is on. It usually drops after loud rise in the program audio. It over adjusts for the peak then eventually returns to a normal level until another loud peak hits again.

Volume Goes Up & Down on DirecTV Stream

I am having trouble with the volume going up and down on all channels on DirecTV Stream. Am using the TV's speakers. Does anyone have a remedy? There was a similar question in the Forums from four years ago, but no solution was offered.

Question

Yes, you need to peak the readings on the 101º satellite, then use the fine adjustment knobs to peak the 99 and 103º HD satellite readings.  Be sure that you dish mast is perfectly plumb.  And you'll need B-Band Converter modules for each of the HR20

Question

Yes.  The 101 is a SD satellite and as such has a broad flat topped beam easily found.  If you peak the dish to the 101, then go to the narrow pointed top beam of the 99c, then you can really zero in.  If the mast is perfectly plumb, peaking the 99c

I’m going to be installing a new dish with a SL3S LNB which receives satellites 99, 101, and 103. Is it true that I don’t’ have to fine tune the tilt? Are there any instructions that address this type of installation in particular and not the general instructions I received with the kit?   They refe

You dither on either 99 or 103 because those satellites have the weaker signals. Peaking either one of those should peak the other.

Question

That tilt marking should be accurate enough, provided your mast is perfectly plumb.   You'll want to use any of the Conus transponders on the 101º satellite to initially peak the dish's readings.  I like to use transponder 3.  Once you've peaked the

Ok....I'm on a new HD HR44-700. Not sure if that's impressive or not.  I know my danged guide is giving me fits, though!  SL3 LNB antenna....reverse band(?)....SWM LNB 22 CH.  Sat transponders 32 total on the 101 sat are all 97 and up 'cept two that are zeroes.  18 and 28.

Question

You're aiming for the 101ºW satellite.  Since you don't care about the HD satellites, don't worry about tilt/skew.  Just aim for 101º and peak its signal using the Receiver's signal meter.
