Satellite frequency update

Received a phone call from individual stating I needed my satellite frequency updated. I will get a $49 discount in my DIRECTV bill for 2 years but update software costs $199. I need to know if this legitimate. Gave me an address to mail the $199 check.

Reset frequency

Do I have to reset my boxes every day? Whenever I have an issue, which is offen, the first response is what boxes do you have and try resetting it, this is disruptive to any recordings or people watching on other tv's and stops everything for about 15 minutes as it resets. uverse guide on 20 interjected channels.

Why is Att putting 20 channels to advertise one new movie. EXAMPLE- Rent Spiderman Homecoming was placed in my uverse guide on 20 interjected channels. I have 3 TVs and it takes forever to get rid of them all.

Off-air RF change local station HR20/H20
