Is there U-verse Internet in North Hollywood area?

I have the HDDVR connected to a Bose receiver. Upon installation and since then, when powering up to watch tv I do not get audio. The Bose does not see an incoming signal. Channel changes multiple times with one tap of channel up/ down. The same happens with the arrow keys when scrolling through the guide. It moves more than once even though the button was only pressed once. Started after a software update a while ago, sometime last year. Happened with multiple boxes.
