i know there is a way to lower the brightness on the blue light ring on the face of the receiver, but i can't remember how to do it. can someone help me figure this out?

IIs there a way to make the blue light ring on the recvier dimmer, it drives us crazy at night?

Anybody have any burned out segments - just noticed it. Oh well, I'll turn it off.

man, its annoying in a dark room.. is there a way to turn it off.. why would they do this? anyhow, other than putting tape over it (tacky) anyone have a suggestion...

I used to be able to change which channel the audio comes from by moving the blue ring around the channel. How do I get that function back. My newsmen doesn't have that ring and I can't change which channel I am listening to. Thanks

When I connect my HR20 up to a phone line it causes the phone phone line throughout the house to go out. No dial ring tone etc, when I disconnect the phone line from the back of the receiver I get a ring everything is find. Any ideas

i have the r22 dvr hard wired by cap5 to my wireless router. everytime my phone rings the router is knocked off line. i unplugged the phone line from my dvr and the problem goes away help

Suddenly the receiver is interferes with incoming landline calls.  If the phone line is connected to the receiver, incoming calls ring in 2  times then goes dead.  Phone company says it's the receiver.  How to stop this?

I have an H34 receiver. Caller ID on receiver sends phantom calls that read UNAVAILABLE every 30 minutes ( house phones do not ring since there is no actual call). Caller ID from receiver does work when I get an actual phone call

when i got my dvr reciever the blue ring around the arrow buttons on the front lit up and then all of a sudden it no longer lights up. can i fix this? is it something i or my family have done wrong? is my reciever broken?  thanks
