Can you use an energy saving surge protector with Directtv?

Recordings disappear. Scheduled new recordings. It will only save one at a time. Says there?s 100% space available. It?s recording one recording over the other and only saving one. I?ve rebooted receivers and rebooted the gateway. Any thoughts?

In the last two days, every time I turn on one of our TV's the screen says it is in power saving mode because there was no activity in the last four hours. I realize that EVERYTHING you DVR is copyrighted, but with said, I have several clips of myself on news shows I'd like to save. There must be a way around the DRM to save isn't there? I'm 50 and really not interested in charging people to watch first run 'bootleg' full movies. 🙂

my dvr is recording shows but when i go to watch the show at a later time they are not listed under "recorded."  I have checked the space and recording times to make sure they are not overlapping. it hasnt recorded anything since 5/31 actually.  not sure what could be the issue. any help?
