When is Directv going to show national channels

Is it possible to get NESN National on channel 1711 like New Englan Sports Network (NESN) says you can here in Dallas?  I have U-Verse 450 but it says I haven’t purchase it.

The week is finally here. Many comments point to the National Rollout on Thursday. Has anyone been able to confirm this?

I am viewing the web page, which loaded without issue, however the screen indicates "Cannot connect to server." The other day when I set it up the RedZone channel provided a preview and there was a sample video from NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC showing. I can't get anything except "Cannot connect to server."

As I peruse the channel guide, I see listings for the national network feeds (Fox, ABC, CBS, NBC, CW, etc). I cannot, however, view these channels. Anyone know how to view these, or if it's even possible?

according to the national geographic website, there is some way to watch past episodes on uverse.  I've followed the steps they call out but don't know how (or if) I can watch these things.   The NG site says it's playing... but where... how?  Do I have to have a smart tv for it to work?
