Why are downloads taking so long?

Not sure how long they should take but it was sold as a "watch immediately" product but for a 30 minute kids show, it's taking about 20 mins to download. Is this my connection? (I have high speed dsl) and are there any ways to make downloading move faster?

Trying to download a movie- but taking forever

Menu navigation just started taking forever, but only on my HD DVR...

Title pretty much says it all. As one example of my problem, when I push the guide button, it takes literally 5 seconds before the guide shows up. Taking HD receiver to different location
