Watching on Satellite

I used to be able to move forward to my last location on a genie recording when viewing on the Directv app. All of a sudden it quit working the last couple of days. I did reboot my genie.

I've been using the DirecTV app on Roku to watch t.v. I find I'm not able to delete any of my recordings, whether it be a series episode, or a movie. Any ideas how I can delete recordings. James

Does the gemini box work with Genii HR54? Can I load an app not from directv? Does the guide list apps loaded on Gemini box?

Can the satellite channels be streamed on the Directv app, or are there some exceptions ?

We pay enough for the packages to get the few channels we watch. Now direct tv requested you to go 390 / 391 and pay for it. (Edited per community guidelines)
