Please give us the option to edit this terrible new menu or get rid of it!

The new menu format is AWFUL. Why are we now forced to have garbage in our home menu that some will never, ever use? I am on my second Gemini unit and I still have the same problem. On start up, about 3 to 4 times a week, I only get audio, no picture. The picture is blank or some partial picture. Now that DirecTV and ATT are separate... how can I fix my acct to not go through ATT anymore?
