Genie DVR in out building?

I have an outbuilding on my property that houses my workshop and a "man cave" of sorts. I cannot get my genie signal to the outbuilding to use a genie mini. Can I put a dish on the building and activate a HR54 DVR on my account? I have a HR54 and 2 minis in my house. Thanks

Yes, DIRECTV could do a longer run under the grass or whatever. But, I would recommend getting another satellite dish installed on the workshop because signal loss over such a long run could occur. You can put another receiver on your DIRECTV account
