A neighbor of mine who vacations down here in Florida was wondering, Are the Big 4 New York locals (WABC, WNBC, WCBS, WNYW) viewable from outside the New York DMA or are they on a spotbeam like the others?

I have direct tv stream, called and asked them how I could watch New York Channels in CT. They told me to change my zip code and it should work, but when I try it says that it’s already using my billing zip. Any ideas how I can do it?

On Direct TV.  Channel 4, NBC, in New York City area, keeps dropping audio and sometimes going black and white.  It seems to be a problem only with this channel.  Anyone else having this issue?  Is it an NBC or a Direct TV issue?

I am having an issue with my TV in the living room. One of the suggestions was to try a receiver (not the DVR) from another room. So if I move the receiver from the bedroom to the living room do I just connect it? Or are there other things I need to do?
