Genie Air Have to Reset Every 2 Days

On multiple TVs, We have to reset the attached Genie Airs after two days. When turning the TV/GP on via the remote, the screen comes up the DirectTv shade of blue, indicating that the HDMI interface is working fine and it’s the GP that isn’t transmitting the correct data.   The devices are on

Converting from Uverse to DirecTv Stream - Ethernet Ports

DirecTV streaming app has sound issues

I just bought a new Samsung TV and use an optical cable to hookup my Bose sound system. Every few minutes the sound stops working for a few seconds then comes back on. Frustrating. I am an I.T. guy and have tried all the "first steps" of changing cables, testing connections, etc. What is the issue?
