Gemini Air Connectivity and Buffering

I have two gemini air devices and have an intermittent problem with low connectivity and buffering. The picture will become grainy and pixillated and then start buffering. Sometimes it resets. Cant record local channels

I can watch local - abc,nbc,cbs, fox stations but if i go to say NBC At 10 pm and try to record what is on then for later the system tells me that show is already over. How can that be when it hasnt even started yet. ANy suggestions of ideas what is going on here THanks
