I forgot to return my DirectTV equipment, I had to pay $400.00 for it. Now I own it. Do people buy this equipment online, and if so what it the usual charge for it?

The width of the guide got smaller so I did a system reset. Now there is no picture or sound but the guide is still showing. I reset again using the red button and then completely removing power but it’s still the same. Neither receiver has a picture but I can still watch recorded shows.

I am having trouble with the volume button on the remote. I'll be watching tv & the volume will automatically go either up all the way or down all the way on its own. I won't even be touching the control. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
