When I connect my Beats earphones the TV audio turns off. I’m sure this is by design, but I’m hard of hearing, thus the earphones, but my wife wants to hear the Tv audio as well. Is there a way to have both the Tv Audio and the blue tooth earphones simultaneously?

Programing a Directv Geni 73 remote for a Bose Soundbar 300
Direct tv settings does not list the Bose Soundbar 300 to program the Geni RC73 remote. It lists a Bose 500,700 and 900. I do not know if one of these would work and do not want to try since it might mess of my remote. Anyone know how to solve this issue? Thank you
