Streaming + Device & App

I am streaming on Fire TVs. Often I press a navigation arrow on the remote and I hear the click on the TV but there is no corresponding movement in the Direct TV application. If I am impatient and click it 10 seconds later nothing happens again and then I get two clicks in the same direction. Intern

I have DTV Stream, ESPN+, & ESPN App (I DO get SEC Network on DTV Stream). How do I access SECN+??

I am not sure when this changes but I use to be able to say record shows and it will do it on the Gemini? Example "Record 60 Minuets and now it Pulls up Youtube Videos. I am amazed that DirectTV does not make it possible for viewers to limit the number of recorded shows in a series to keep. Even Xfinity has the feature..although they have other major shortcomings.
